Belle Phoenix and Jeffrey Wegener released their debut avantgarde DEMOLITION EP October 2025. Unconventional and alive with an upredictable energy that for some of those brainwashed with mainstream, formulaic pop music will find difficult to accept. This is music for those who want to be ouut on a limb and challenged by raw , expressionist art that structures one's brain to form new pathways possibly unexplored.
Belle is a paradox and she says she always has been. In progress is also a full length album CINEMATIC LOVE that presents 9-original songs bathing in a type of ethereal glow, bewitching and surreal like a dream.
It began with the duo Phoenix on guitar and Wegener on drums and soon turned into full band showcasing special guests:
Jeff Hooker (Kim Salmon) on bass, Osker Bickford (Brian Henry Hooper) guitar, Ken Gormley (The Cruel Sea) bass, Jack Howard (Hunters & Collectors) trumpet... Their third gig was at The Cave Inn (BNE) in which 19-0yo, Robert Pestorius with Bob Farrell (Laughing Clowns) played saxophones.

Phoenix previously collaborated with Mark Plati (David Bowie) on her previous European release through Beast Records - 'The Glorious Dead' album which Mark Plati (Bowie) was a part of.
Phoenix played various shows in Berlin with Chris Hughes (Crime & the City Solution, Rowland S. Howard, Lydia Lunch...et. al) and Maria Zastrow (Kid Congo, Blixa Bargeld, Nick Cave etc.) on bass.
The trio supported Mick Harvey (Nick Cave) & Amanda Acevedo in Melbourne.
